Comment:Osborne was author of the popular "Nixon Watch" column which he published throughout Nixon's presidency, and compiled into a series of books. Osborne particularly annoyed the President because his column often included detailed accounts of White House discussions and policymaking, which were leaked to him by Ehrlichman and other high-level sources.
